As the managing director at Tectonic, I’m fully committed to providing the best service for our clients. I highly value punctuality, reliability, and efficiency in the workplace. I have always been fascinated by movies that bring the impossible to life. I’m privileged to work side by side with a visual effect supervisor who has worked on some of the best fan-favourite movies of my time. This provides opportunities for our clients to express their imagination and creativity in ways that were not possible before.
JÓHANNUS JOHANSEN

As one of the co-founders at Tectonic, I’ve had the privilege to graduate from the Vancouver film school in 2012 as the first Faroese VFX artist. Since then I have gained experience at “Gener8 Digital Media Corp.” and MasterChef Arabia. While working at Gener8, I had the pleasure to work on Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, 300: Rise of an Empire, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Godzilla, and Maleficent. With all these experiences which I have gathered in the past, as the VFX supervisor at Tectonic, I am dedicated to giving our best to our clients, so their imaginations can become reality.
HANS KRISTIAN EYÐUNSSON HANSEN
Lead Animator
I Graduated from James Watt College, Scotland, as a 3D Artist in 2011, attended a year at the University of Hertfordshire but decided to return home to the Faroe Islands in 2012 to start an industry in 3D visualisations. Ever since my return, I have been involved in various game/construction industry/film projects.
My main skills are in rigging, animation and dynamic simulations. At Tectonic, I have been given the task of Lead Animator, and as the Lead Animator, I will bring life into all imaginations, which become a reality.
ESTER JUSTINUSSEN
Junior Compositor Intern
I’m a graduate of Falmouth University, class of 2020 with a bachelor in Animation and Visual Effects. My work at Tectonic VFX consists of roto/preparation, Clean up and composition. In this short time, I’ve had the privilege to work on projects such as; 111 Góðir Dagar, Faith of a Child and Anatolian Leopard.
I am excited to develop my skills as a compositor further and I always strive to create breathtaking content for our clients here at Tectonic VFX
